Biography

Biography

I am currently studying a Songwriting and Music Production degree at The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA – Sir Paul McCartneys University).
Whilst at university I have formed a band under my name Aleya Mae. I have written original material with a Soul / Pop vibe. I am looking to release several songs towards the end of 2019.
My ambition is to become a well known touring artist – headlining Glastonbury !! (lol)
I love clothes and jewelry. I love being musically busy, whether songwriting, producing, performing.
I dislike artists who feel that their candle burns brighter by criticizing other artists. As artists should support artists !

Work Experience

Experience

I started singing and performing at the age of 16. Since then I have performed at; The Cavern Club (Liverpool), Dingwalls (Camden), Busking (Manchester and Liverpool), Debenhams (Manchester), several light switch-ons (London, Warrington, Bootle, Event City-Trafford Park), Hilton (Manchester), The Lowry (Manchester), NEC (Birmingham), Huddersfield Carnival, Congleton Festival, Wellifest, Manchester Carnival, Band on the Wall (Manchester), and several smaller venues across Manchester and Liverpool. Some of these gigs were for charities including; Teenage Cancer, Reubens Retreat, Mother Against Violence, Stand up to Cancer.
I have produced tracks for a few artists.

Talent/Skills

Talent/Skills

I am a really good friend to have (unless you like sitting in silence). Yes you guessed it – I can talk for England, but am a good listener.
I have met many people from all over the world at my university – people that I consider will be lifelong friends. I love listening to their stories about lifestyles and cultures in other countries, and how they differ from our cultures. I very recently spent some time in Germany and America visiting friends that I have made at university.
I cannot drive and am currently chauffeured around by my mum and dad. I cannot see this changing in the future as I am very happy with this arrangement. lol
What does really annoy me is ‘I cannot whistle’.
